Welcoming staff & spotlessly clean Spectacular location with stunning views

Brilliant vacation. First and foremost the staff are brilliant, always friendly, always helpful. The location is fantastic - right between Buttermere and Crummock Water, offering gentle walks around the lakes, to full on mountain hikes including the famous Haystacks. The rooms are all furnished to the highest of standards, as are the lounge, bar and dining room. I've stayed in some of the best hotels in the world, and The Bridge is right up there! Sure, not as big, but in its own way - right up there at the top.

Stunning location! We have been staying at The Bridge inn for over 25 years and have enjoyed every visit ! The staff are extremely helpful and the food is delicious !

The self-catering apartment was wonderful - quiet, very comfortable and cosy. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the dinner we had in the Walker's Bar was great. Will definitely come back.
