As always a wonderful stay in an immaculate and beautifully presented facility. Fiona and Alan as so accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful seated by the log fire.

We were fortunate to discover this lovely B&B in the St. Andrews area – a true gem and highlight of our visit to Scotland! A planned one night stay turned into two nights as the location was so convenient, the accommodations so well appointed and the hosts, Allan & Fiona, so welcoming. We stayed in the Tartan room and found it very comfortable and peaceful with all the amenities we required. We took advantage of the in-house breakfast one morning - the selections were numerous and the food, cooked to order by Fiona, was delicious and plentiful - we were set for the day after that! We would highly recommend a stay at Tarskavaig B&B and hope to return ourselves one day. Thank you, Allan and Fiona, for your superb hospitality!

Tips for other travellers

Allan was a wealth of information about the area and the sights to see. The highlights for us were St. Andrews, Glamis Castle and the beautiful surrounding countryside including the Fife Coastal Path. The Wallace Monument in Stirling was well worth the stop as we made our way to Glasgow (thank you Allan for suggesting it).

It was so lovely to have my allergies well accommodated at breakfast. The owners were so warm and welcoming. I would definitely stay again.

Tips for other travellers

Lots of nice areas and villages to visit near by. We had a lovely dinner at the Peat Inn down the road from the BnB.
