Absolutely wonderful stay. I would definitely return. I only wish I could have stayed longer. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and cozy. The breakfast was delicious. Everything was beautiful.

Tarskavaig felt like home from home. The room was comfortable with everything you need. Large bed, lovely linen. The hosts, Allen and Fiona, were extremely kind and informative. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.

Tips for other travellers

St Andrews is far more beautiful than I expected. The walking tour with the witty historian Richard Falconer us is highly recommended. The town is small enough to walk. Parking was easy to find. Standing on the iconic course was definitely the highlight of our trip. We had a beer at Jiggers pub and dinner at Criterion. Both were delicious.

Second time we have stayed here. Wonderful b&b, lovely setting, beautiful house and spotless clean. Fiona and Allan can’t do enough for you, nothing is ever a problem. We will definitely be back!

Tips for other travellers

Short drive to St Andrews, lots of lovely places to eat & drink. Lots of outdoor activities local also if the weather is good. We played the Himalayas putting at St Andrews golf course which was a lot of fun. We had dinner at Craig Millars in St Monans which is just a short drive away.
