Very handy for the ferry to N Ireland & a nice pleasant helpful man running it.

The toilets need updating, although nice and clean only 2 showers and at a cost of 50p per 8 minutes and hairdryer 20p and at the price I paid for 5 nights I think that’s pretty mean the showers should not be chargeable, I use lots of sites as well as park for night and none I’ve known charge for showers. I think it would be in your interest to stop charging for the showers or at the very least make it 50p per 10 minutes lol It’s a fair old walk to the town from the site with nothing in between except Morrisons almost in to the town. I didn’t realise it was a regeneration area either with high crime. No I wouldn’t recommend in fact we left a day earlier than what I paid for. Sorry but that’s my honest opinion.

Sorry, but utter nonsense. High crime area, your having a laugh. What crimes did you actually witness?. Bet you cant name any. You phoned before booking, and knew the price ( £26 per night + £2 for the awning, no charge for the dog ) and decided to book it. It was a lengthy phone call. We are an officially graded site and we do discus things with the inspectors and have brought up the fact the " no one else charges for showers " with them, who confirm that's just nonsense. Its quite common. It is 1 mile from the town centre, and you knew that as you were told that when you booked on the phone. We have no input or control over taxi fees. We do have a QR code for the bus time tables on our reception window. As we don't own or operate busses, the services are also not under out control ether.
