Another lovely stay at Walford Court. We are staying quite regularly due to illness of a family member, but are delighted to have found such a gorgeous location. Restful, comfortable and so welcoming. And the breakfasts, evening platters and home made soups (plus the biscuits, cake and cookies) are to die for. Now we always bring back a dozen of the delicious free range eggs too.

It is a beautiful part of the countryside with lots of places to visit. Ludlow is beautiful and has a great market and not far to drive. The nearby pubs we have tried all serve excellent food. And it is so peaceful, and compared to the South East the air is wonderfully clean.

We had a such relaxing stay everything was perfect! The breakfast was exceptional and the sharing platter delicious. All the lovely little touches, such as the lovely cakes and homemade shortbread, extra towels, robes and candles, just fabulous! We stayed in the aragon suite with the wonderful four poster bed which was so comfy. Debbie and Craig were fantastic hosts. We are looking forward to our next stay hopefully very soon!

Ludlow is only short drive away, with lots of lovely shops and the castle, which is well with a visit, as well as lots of great pubs. Leominster is great place for pottering about the numerous antique shops. Aymestrey has a great little Sunday Market , fabulous book shop and coffee shop. National trust Berrington Hall is also well worth a visit too.
