Beautiful hostel with plain clean rooms. All on suite. The place was immaculate and the big common room / kitchen area is a great place to eat and chat. Dominique was easy to deal with and we 17 people had a great time . Highly recommended.

Tips for other travellers
Lots of small local shops, several good bars and plenty of coffee houses nearby. Short walk to a big co op store Ballater is clean, quiet safe and friendly.
