Super helpful and friendly staff. Although I didn't need it, the "stuff to do" / walking guide was amazing, a real labour of love.

The hostel is outstanding in every way: it is clean, bright, with spacious rooms and good quality showers. The kitchen and living room have everything one could ask for. My only regret is that I did not pick up an independent youth hostels guide.

Daniel and Dominique are very nice, trusting people. The common space is cosy and inviting to sit and be with other travelers, or have a nice chat with the hosts!

This is a really well equipped hostel in a lovely wee village in the Cairngorm highlands. It's ideally equipped for walkers and travellers of any persuasion. Dominique and Daniel are super-friendly, helpful and knowledgeable hosts and the kitchen/dining area is a lovely place to relax and recharge after a busy day in the hills.

There's a great supermarket in the town. Perfect for access to salmon fishing on the Dee, Balmoral, mountains such as Lochnagar and many other Munros including the Cairngorms.
