Lovely, friendly, accommodating hosts. We loved Clive's recommendations for local walks and sites. Beautiful views from our room. Wonderful location; easy to walk to the main street. Delicious breakfasts (we tried almost everything on the menu--all great). Comfy bed. The house is a bit chilly in the winter months, even with the heat cranked to high.

Tips for other travellers

Rainy weather and cold did not hold us back! We came prepared with multiple layers and waterproof clothing. The walk in the rain to Garavan Sands was lovely!

We booked the regency room and it was absolutely beautiful. We loved sitting at the window watching the sun set and the activity in the harbor. The location is great a very easy walk to the shops and restaurants. The parking is easy to access. The service is cheerful and friendly we loved our stay here.

Traveling to Oban in March is a great way to see the town before the rush starts we had a lovely time.

WOW! Above and beyond seems to be their SOP. The home is gorgeous and our room was beautiful and charming. Clive and Karin were exceptional, and delivered way above expectations for customer service. 20/10 would recommend and can't wait to come back to stay with them again!

Great and beautiful home for a stay in Oban. Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. The rooms had the original ornate crown molding and our room had a view of the harbor. Very comfortable stay.

Tips for other travellers

We used the car's GPS that only got us close. We opened Google Maps after the car map failed which took us straight to the parking area. Note that parking is in the back of the house so don't look for the front.

Hi Kari, thank you so much for your review and wonderful advice. It is worth noting the location on Google Maps before arrival as it is not always possible to get connected to the internet. We advise our guests to look for the bowling green as our car park is located directly opposite.
