friendly and professional. food was excellent, beds comfortable and minor issue was dealt with quickly and efficiently. huge fluffy white towels and many added little touches to make us welcome.

Tips for other travellers

Harbour light pub for food is lovely. paignton zoo well worth a visit. bike night fabulous. prince of wales in brixham prawn sandwiches are huge and fresh and very tasty. steam train and ferry were wonderful. A ram jammed packed few days away......

Julia and Iain, the owners, are two of the most lovely people we have met on our holidays. We were treated with kindness and love during our stay that was above and beyond what we expected.The guest house was extremely clean, the room was just how we wanted and the breakfasts were so filling. We will definitely be staying with them in the future and will be recommending them to our friends and relatives. Beautiful couple in every way.

Tips for other travellers

Paignton has the railway and buses to get to anywhere along the coast. We would recommend going on the steam train "Round Robin", where you go from Paignton to Kingswear by steam train, then get a ferry across to Dartmouth then a boat trip to Totnes. beautiful scenery. various great places for food and drink at reasonable prices all over Paignton, and we tried a lot of them.

Another lovely relaxing stay at Blue Waters Lodge. Comfortable room with lots of extras such as fresh milk and cold water in a little fridge. Delicious breakfast too. Julia and Ian are friendly helpful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you
