Had lovely stay in an excellent lodge. Very well equipped and very clean. Even though a couple of other lodges nearby it felt very private, well thought out layout of the site. The kitchen had everything you could need and it was all good quality, much better than most self catering accommodation. Good outside space with a nice view across the valley. Overall excellent and very comfortable accommodation

A short walk down to Dervaig to the village store which is very well stocked. Calgary beach and Langamull beach were gorgeous. Good cafe at the Calgary art in nature sculpture trail. Lovely day on Ulva. The Boathouse had excellent food

Absolutely wonderful accommodation in the perfect location to explore Mull. Lodges are clean, fully equipped with every possible kitchen utensil and the beds are wonderfully comfortable. Exactly what you need for a few days exploring. The books, leaflets and information folder in the lodge covers every possible option for your time in Mull. We used it every day to plan our day ahead, it was truly invaluable and I wish more accommodation providers would invest in compiling such a fantastic resource for guests. We drove to Salen to visit Mull Seafood and pick up some scallops and langies for dinner- we would never have found this without the guide in the lodge. On a note about the lodges being dog friendly - we often find this is advertised but when we arrive it’s clear they are dog tolerant- two very different things! It’s the absolute opposite here. We were welcomed along with the dogs and encouraged to explore the garden with the dogs like it was our own. Treats, towels and water bowl all provided along with throws for the couch if your dogs are used to cuddling on the sofa. It was wonderful to feel like the dogs were welcome too and not tolerated. We were really happy with that. Can’t wait to book in again! Thanks for having us and the dogs, it was a perfect few days.

Tobermory Tearoom and bakery does a wonderful morning roll and the home made pies are great too. We stopped into Calgary Coffee on the way to the beach for a coffee and some cake - would highly recommend. The local store in Dervaig had some incredibly fresh and delicious fruit and seemed to be stocked with all the essentials. We took a walk down the hill to the Bellachroy on our final night and had a fantastic dinner. Fresh local seafood and lovely friendly staff - super dog friendly too.

Another amazing stay! Thank you Jo & Tom! Wonderful cabin with everything you could ever need/want. Ideal location with Calgary beach a 10 minute drive one way and Tobermory a 15 minute drive the other. Can’t wait to return in 2026!

Fabulous location, spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed and well equipped - great base for our first trip to Mull. Jo and Tom couldn’t have been more helpful. Went the extra mile by generously upgrading our son and his children to a bigger lodge, after someone else had cancelled. We had more space when getting together for family time.

The Piece Box, Dervaig for cinnamon buns and village shop - stock most things. Mull Pony Trekking in Killiechronan - staff there are very welcoming and attentive. Staffa Tours for boat trips to see magical puffins and dolphins. The Ardnamurchan Lighthouse and Sanna Bay via ferry Tobermory to Kilchoan. For spectacular views up 164 steps! Calgary bay for nearby beach and swim days. The Glass Barn and Cheese Farm for cakes, coffee and browse through local produce.
