Lovely cabin in a fabulous location. Very clean and well equipped. The food and service at the onsite cafe and bar were outstanding, we recovered the chicken curry. We also recommend stargazing on a clear night.

Tips for other travellers

We cycled the Mawdach estuary from Barmouth, had lunch at the George 111 pub near Dolgellau. Views are amazing,. food and service both excellent. Underground crazy golf at Lechweld Zipworkd and Velocity at Penryn Quarry were both fabulous experiences..We walked from Pont y Pair Bridge at Betwys y Coed and from Tyn y Groes, both beautiful spots. We recommend Mawdach pizza restaurant for the food and amazing views.

Tips for other travellers

The area is beautiful. A lot to explore in the immediate surroundings. Great view from the cabin picknick tables. Different benches outside the cabin to sit where ever you want (sun/shade/inside). Supermarkets and a lot to do within 30 mins. We loved the walk to the top of the Cadair Idris. Visited the lovely Welsh Maze and the King Arthur experience. The wool mill was a bit further north, but worth a visit (still running today, completely water powered). Several beautiful beaches closeby. And the Fairy Glen was definately worth the walk. Just to summarize: Loved the entire holiday.

Lovely setting with quiet site and well managed cabins You can enjoy mountain scenery and are only 20 to 30 minutes from beautiful beaches
