Another wonderful stay at this beautiful location. The facilities are perfect for us as a family, we love the area and the peacefulness.

Wonderful walks and cycling around the Lakeside way, bike hire at Kielder Castle from the Bike Place. Recommend the street burger from the Foresty Van at Kielder Castle. Very good pub food at the Hollybush Inn in Greenhaugh and the Blackcock Inn in Falstone.

2nd stay now as we were doing the Dirty Reiver cycling event, great place to stay very clean and very warm which is needed up North!! cracking little village in a superb location adjacent to Kielder at the damn end of the reservoir.

2 good pubs, The Black Cock in the village and the Pheasant just out of the village on the main road, make sure you book in advance as are difficult to get in if leaving to the last munute as we have found out ☺

All great overall. The property has a wow factor. It would be nice to have some decent moisturiser befitting a high end property-but that may be splitting hairs. It is super comfy, super quiet and has all you need really.

Loads of great local walks. We didnt get to try the pub or tea room as they were still closed for the New Year but will defintely try them next time!
