in giving it a 5 star review obviously I'm not comparing it to a hotel, But as a bunkhouse it is excellent. I have only knocked a point off facilities Because 1 Shared toilet and shower is not ideal when the bunkhouse is full, but actually we managed OK.

Such a unique place to stay with not many hostels in the south around anymore. This one is a true gem. Volunteer warden Allan was very welcoming and made me a cup of tea on arrival. The pub down the road was lovely with great food and I had a very comfortable and warm nights sleep with temperatures dropping to 9degrees at night. I will certainly be coming back!
