Irene and David are excellent hosts who couldn't do enough for me, I had a really lovely stay. The house is immaculately presented, a great breakfast and lots of small details went to make up the best of experiences. I would definitely stay again, no question.

Excellent accommodation with friendly and helpful hosts Location is great and good place to rest stop on the NC500

The location, accommodation and the hosts were all exemplary! This was our fourth night on the NC500 and it was by far the best, and best value, stop-over we experienced. Even before arriving we received really helpful travel advice with suggestions of what to do and see and where to dine in the evening. We followed all the advice and we’re not disappointed! On arrival we were shown to an immaculately clean, light and spacious room. We also had access to a large, comfortable lounge. Breakfast was excellent - and accompanied by more useful onward travel advice. We cannot recommend this highly enough - you can pay far more and get far less (eg the following night we stayed at The Stables at The Torridon - more expensive and although it was good and the location was fantastic, it was not better and the breakfast was definitely not as good). We would love to return for a longer stay.

I found the owners to very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much bother and they were always ready to go the extra mile. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to friends and family and other travellers.
