This is the most beautiful place to stay amongst the vines. The hosts Rob and Steve are just lovely and attentive and after our 6th visit now have become lovely valued friends.

Saint Emilion is one of the nicest places we have come across in France and a ‘must visit’ every time we go to the area.

We felt very much welcomed, could taste their wonderful wine when we arrived and very much enjoyed the discussions with Rob and Steve. So we got an insight on all kind of aspects of their live on the wineyard. Could play petanque in the evenings when it got cooler, enjoyed every minute!

We love it here so much its our 4th stay and we only live 2 hours away. The gite is great with everything you could need for your stay. Clean, tidy, comfortable, peaceful, lovely walks around the vineyards. Steve & Rob are the perfect hosts and make you so welcome.

A short drive to St Emilion train station with free parking for the train to Bordeaux to explore the amazing city. Get the app TBM and the day pass for trams & buses. City centre is walkable. L'entrecot restaurant in Bordeaux is a must. Not forgetting to get your supply of clos vieux rochers wine from their shop before leaving!

Our 7th visit and as ever, it was fantastic! Rob and Steve are great hosts, very friendly, helpful and entertaining. It’s also great to learn about the workings of the vineyard and wine making process (as well as bee keeping and their other endeavours!). Their wine is delicious and very well priced considering the great quality. Their honey and chutney is also great. They also offer a delicious breakfast option.

Rob and Steve have some great recommendations for places to eat and towns to visit, we’ve never been disappointed.
