Staying at Shorehead Guest House was an outstanding experience in our lengthy Scottish travels. The foreshore location ensconced us immediately in life by the sea. The outstanding attraction nearby was Dunnotar Castle.

Superb harbour front location - a fantastic location to wake up in. The room was very excellent, well appointed and the bed very comfortable. Self service continental breakfast was good. Thanks to Paul for his communications pre-visit. I hope to return

Tips for other travellers

I was there for 2 days on a business trip but I had time to enjoy a fantastic beef stew & Guinness at the Marine Hotel. Take a short walk up to the war memorial (and further if you wish) for incredible views.
