Lovely little cottage that was modern and very clean and warm on arrival. Nice touch of sweeties for the children on their pillows! Very comfy beds and has everything you would need for a short stay. Great communication from the owners. Great location and a very pretty village that you can walk to within a few minutes. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! Thank you!

Tips for other travellers

Lovely village that has a few lovely pubs- Red Lion and The George Inn. Both serve food but we only had desserts which were very tasty! A few little shops (chocolate shop, small deli/food shop, bakery, national trust shop) Can visit Lacock Abbey where Harry Potter was filmed. All walkable from the cottage within 5/10 mins!

A small storage unit and perhaps some more hooks in bedroom 2. Add some board games to the living room.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your three night stay. There is a large 3 drawer chest of draws in the bedroom and two large under the bed storage drawers in the second bedroom.

Helen and Wyatt are excellent hosts with a wealth of local knowledge. We were made to feel very welcome. Loved meeting Monty the very friendly dog too. A warm and comfortable stay. Thank you.

We had a nice meal at The Red Lion. Charming pub. The village is really nice to walk around and the abbey is impressive.

A gorgeous cottage is a beautiful rural setting in the village of Lacock. We had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The cottage was well equipped and cosy.

Visit Whitehall garden centre across the road. It is fab!
