Knowlton Cottages

We stayed as a family in the cottage to celebrate Christmas all together. The lodge is beautiful and so homely. The surroundings are stunning and it is perfect for walks and the garden is also a nice size. The kitchen is really well equipped we did full Christmas meal for 8 and had everything we needed to do this including disposable roasting trays kindly provided by Jane as she knew we were there to celebrate Christmas together. Jane was amazing when we accidently locked ourselves out and had a spare key to us in less than 45 minutes. I would highly recommend the property and we are already looking to return again Winter 2026.

Cosy and comfortable, this little apartment is in a gorgeous setting. We loved it and will be back.

What a fantastic house! It was excellent for a group of friends as there was space to eat and relax together. Everyone had their own bathroom and all bedrooms were of a very good size. Log fires in the evening and walks during the day. Perfect house. Thank you.

Just beautiful setting, incredibly peaceful. Very kind and helpful Latvian family, who made sure I was warm enough when heating went a little wonky😊. Friendly workers on site who didn’t mind chatting for a short time.
