Knowlton Cottages

Cosy and comfortable, this little apartment is in a gorgeous setting. We loved it and will be back.

What a fantastic house! It was excellent for a group of friends as there was space to eat and relax together. Everyone had their own bathroom and all bedrooms were of a very good size. Log fires in the evening and walks during the day. Perfect house. Thank you.

Just beautiful setting, incredibly peaceful. Very kind and helpful Latvian family, who made sure I was warm enough when heating went a little wonky😊. Friendly workers on site who didn’t mind chatting for a short time.

We had such a lovely stay, however there are a few things that would have been helpful Sharp knives - even using the sharpener they weren't great really large pans would have been useful too, cooking roasties for 20 people meant several pans of potatoes then not much room left on the hob for much else, which meant a lot of batch cooking and longer cooking time slaving over that stove The very large table may be better suited laid out in two thinner long tables, as you couldn't reach the centre of the table to clean it and actually it was quite tight to walk round the edge of it everything else was fantastic, love the house and the gardens and the area in general
