We absolutely loved our stay with friends and family at the cottage. It is beautiful and fully equipped cottage and basic amenities were provided. We loved the space - the rooms of good size and 4 bathrooms are perfect. The location is perfect if you are looking to cut off from the every day noise. The garden space is lovely to sit and make the most of the outside and play games. Ample parking.

Jane our host was very quick to reply to questions or queries we had before our arrival. The house was absolutely amazing and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed, and an abundance of fridges for food and drinks, which was really helpful for our large group during a heatwave! The bedrooms were so comfortable and the pool table was well loved! Every thought has been put into the house and our whole group absolutely loved the house and grounds. Would highly recommend.

This was our second visit as a large family group of 4 generations and we cannot recommend The Dower House highly enough! The accommodation has everything we need from fully equipped kitchen which we used daily to the pool table and outdoor space. We will return very soon! Thank you to Jane for making the whole booking process seamless.

Tips for other travellers
We highly recommend The Griffins Head in Chillenden, we booked a meal for 17 family members from 2 years old to 80 years old and the booking process with Eliza was faultless. The food was amazing and they catered for allergies. Just an easy 15 minute walk from The Dower House to The Griffins Head. It's a short drive to Deal which is full of history and you can complete walking tours via the helpful boards or books.
