Beautiful, well equipped house. Very much enjoyed our stay here. Nice layout of the house and well stocked kitchen with everything you need for a large party. Thank you for the welcome package - it had some lovely goodies. Would definitely come back

Sandwich was a pretty little town. Gibson’s farmshop nearby is useful to pick up some nice treats

The accommodation was what we expected from the advertisement. It was well equipped and clean. When I contacted the Knowlton office the response was quick and helpful.

Tips for other travellers

It's easy to get to Canterbury, which is a lovely city. There are walks along the river and around the city walls, as well as the cathedral,shops and places to eat. The beach at Deal was also quite close. There is a nice sea front and pier to walk along, a castle to visit, as well the beach for children.

Outstanding property in an historic estate setting. Amazing welcome pack and very well equipped throughout. We had the odd niggle, but this was dealt with immediately. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend this property (The Lodge)
