no complaints; enjoyable stay - pity you could not organise perfect weather too! Electrical problem in Bed 1 defeated 10 Chartered Surveyors (none of them Building Surveyors) and defied basic electrics!! 4 of the bulbs in the central light worked when switched on. When turned off one bulb dimmed but did not switch off. Taking a bulb out resulted in the next one staying on! Solution: take out all the bulbs rather than try to sleep with the light on. No hot water at times (a problem the previous week according to Ally Tennent), particularly in the kitchen after dinner. Not resolved when switched to immersion by your plumber, but solved when thermostats turned up a day later. Loose shower fitting in ?4 (your plumber was aware), and one or 2 similarly small issues. Jane was brilliant, and beyond the call of duty addressing glitches when on holiday. Thank you Jane

The cottage is ideally located, offering the perfect balance between tranquillity and convenience. Whether you want to relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway or spend your days exploring Kent's beautiful countryside and coastline, it's an excellent base. The accommodation was superb, with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We were also delighted to find a thoughtful welcome basket filled with muesli, olives, cheese crackers, and tea—a lovely touch that made our arrival even more special.

We had a lovely stay and was very impressed with the size of the bedrooms and grounds the cottage sits in. The outside area/garden was perfect for our stay and away from the roads so we felt safe allowing the kids to roam around. The cottage had everything we needed our only concern was the oven was fairly small for the amount of mouths we had to feed but this only affected us on the 1 night we used the oven. We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend again.
