Beautiful peaceful spot.Dower House and the surroundings are steeped in history. Courtyard garden perfect for Al fresco dining. Loved the topiary ( dancing ladies?!) St. Clements Church on the estate an interesting visit; again we loved the historic connections. A few niggles with the showers ( dvd player!) but service was prompt and helpful. Would be nice to provide two hand towels but overall a perfect place to stay.

So much to see in this area and not too much driving.Canterbury Cathedral, Sandwich, Broadstairs, Richborough and Walmer Castle all worth visiting. Gibsons Farm Shop at Wingham was a surprising find for us self caterers. ( wonderful range of local foods etc.)Otherwise Co op at Sandwich and a large Waitrose at Ramsgate.

Fabulous stay in the Dower house. Probably the best large house we have stayed in . Loads of space and aa we were blessed with good weather, we enjoyed the beautifully maintained gardens and courtyard. Comfy beds, everything you needed in the kitchen. Very peaceful setting - felt like we were on our own. Already planning to come back

We didn't leave the site, we had three under 5's who had a great time exploring in a safe environment.
