Stunning property. Beautifully maintained and relaxing. Apartment 2 had everything we needed for a self catering break. Krys & Tim very warm, welcoming people. Wish we had stayed longer. Perfect holiday! One minor feedback was some spare towels around the pool area would have been useful but understand this leads to extra workload so perhaps should have brought these with us.

Good selection of restaurants & local shops. Very convenient location to Le Bugue. Wonderful, quaint french town.

We very much enjoyed our few days staying in No2 apartment. It was very accommodating, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you for the very comfortable bed and quality linens and towels. Something we’d missed on our travels. The location worked so well. A short stroll into town with delicious boulangeries and restaurants. There was a heat wave while we were there and the spacious pool and terrace was very much appreciated. Tim and Kris are fab hosts it was great to see the Chateau for real after watching all their hard work making it what it is today on the tv.

We had an excellent dinner at Quai Vizere in Le Bugue. The location just by the river couldn’t have been better. The food was amazing and really good service. A great last night meal.

We spent five lovely days/nights in the characterful La Forge cottage - a well-equipped kitchen, lovely hot showers and comfortable bedroom. We spent more time eating and drinking at the outside table (very lucky with the weather) than we expected because it was so relaxing. Also appreciated the pool - deep enough and long enough to actually swim in! Our hosts were very relaxed and full of information and tips.

Like everybody, we suspect, we enjoyed the market - bustling, full of delicious food and wine, and accordion music to boot. Our favourite lunch was at Chez Julien in Le Paunat, recommended by Tim - delicious food in a beautiful setting (beside the abbatiale church). We also enjoyed La Grotte de Rouffignac - cave drawings of mammoths visited on a little train. A couple of visits to the wine cellar of Julien de Savignac rounded off our trip nicely.

Such an idiotic setting in a fairytale French Château, a very warm welcome was given by Krys who showed us to our accommodation we quickly settled in later on met Tim again very welcoming very friendly very down to earth. We felt like we were being treated like one of family rather than paying guests which was delightful. Nothing was too much trouble and any minor issues are very quickly sorted out. Definitely would stay again. Well done guys keep it up!

The local Town is enchanting. Everything you need is there and the people we met seemed very friendly. We had a meal in a restaurant called Oscar which has a terrace overlooking the river on the last day again lovely food lovely service lovely place. It’s also very central for the prehistoric caves, although we didn’t actually visit ourselves and ideally place to explore the French countryside.
