For hot evening meal Ring Angela Angela 014343341236 a day or two before, for a menu. She will leave in fridge for cooking. Delicious home prepared food at a very reasonable price.

Alston is nearby food restaurants, had a quiet night's sleep next to the babbling brook. On a clear night you can see plentiful stars. Had a great stay here when riding C2C.

Very nice place to stay for the night. We (two) cyclists stayed at the small campsite. Inside the village hall bunkroom you can cook. There are two showers and one toilet, they are very clean.

Take some protection against the midges. There are no shops or pubs in this small town, so bring your own food and drinks.

Thank you for your lovely review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. In terms of the availability of food and drink, we do have an 'honesty cupboard' in our kitchen which holds a variety of dried and tinned food goods, as well as tea and coffee.
