I really enjoyed my stay and all of the people I came in contact with were extremely friendly. I have several comments. 1.I did not use your food cupboard but people backpacking would need to know the rough contents of the cupboard so they can be sure to be able to make a meal. ( Especially now the pub has closed.) 2. This is a mixed dorm and this needs to be explicit clear because some female groups may find sharing with random males difficult. To be honest, I did not particular check your web site so that information may be clear. 3. I was slightly awoken by a camper coming looking for a towel. This is not a problem because I was in a shared dorm but it may have been helpful to the campers if there was a sign saying the towels were in the shared bathroom. I must reiterate that I really enjoyed my stay and it was a wonderful experience.

Many thanks for your review and your kind words. When we email out to our guests we do include information about the location of towels, however, we will adjust this to ensure the information is in bold to prevent a similar situation arising. The website is clear that it is a single bunkroom with 8 beds, but again thank you so much for your comment. Again, we do advise guests that the honesty cupboard contains a selection of tinned and dried goods and that bread and milk is also available. Feedback such as yours is so essential to ensure the smooth running of the village hall, so we really appreciate your comments.

I said Iād be there for 20:00 and amazingly I was and so was the food delivery š. I was made so welcome as a camper and offered the facilities to use and I did. The showers amazingly large and hot which got me ready for the following day. The whole place is spotless and a credit to those who provide the service. Highly recommend.

Excellent location for a stay. We were very impressed with the facilities and the welcome we received. The store was also open. Only thing that would have been better is if the pub would reopen.
