Absolutely beautiful house. After coming home we both said we missed the holiday house! The house is great but you can tell they have tried to include anything and everything that you might need while staying there. Our boys loved playing the games provided and being in the garden. Thank you again for having us.

Tips for other travellers

Make the most of the location. You have Cockermouth, Keswick and Buttermere all close by but the then have Maryport and Workington a 10minute drive the other way!

Our aim after many years of self catering holidays was to try to include everything that we wanted and enjoyed. Lovely spacious cottage, very peaceful, amazing views, back garden is a sun trap, dog friendly, kitchen is very well equipped everything you could possibly need, home from home

Perfect stay for some rest & relaxation, just what the doctor ordered, short drive to a dog friendly beach, golf courses and supermarkets

Absolutely stunning house in a lovely spot. We enjoyed walking locally along the Derwent and our dogs loved the trip.
