Clean spacious well equipped really dog friendly Communication excellent with hosts Dog friendly walks from the door secure garden with fabulous views from nearly all the windows and patio

Pubs in village Buttermere cockermouth keswick derwentwater Carlisle. Loweswater penrith Workington Silloth all 30 45 mins away

Thank you for your helpful "travellers tips". We always enjoy visiting, Buttermere, Derwentwater, Cockermouth and Keswick too, all just a short scenic drive away. Loweswater and Silloth are lovely less well known but great places to visit. We are so pleased that you still find great places to visit during your return stays at Coldgill View and look forward to welcoming you back.

We had a fabulous few days. House had everything we needed and more. Spotlessly clean. Lovely to arrive to milk in the fridge and a warm house. Car charger a real bonus 🙌

Tips for other travellers

Boys enjoyed Clip n Climb and the playground in Maryport. Puzzling Place in Keswick was a hit for a rainy day. Nothing is far away. Village shop friendly. Larger supermarkets nearby.

Wonderful home from home, so cosy with great views. The kitchen has the best equipped kitchen with everything you will ever need. We will definitely return.

Tips for other travellers

Cockermouth is a short drive away. Four miles. Harris park was the perfect place to walk the dogs. Lots of local walks to enjoy.

Always a wonderful stay here, my 4th time this visit but a first for my mother who thought it was a fantastic place also.

Nice pub the Countryman. Deffinately worth visiting Dodd wood and Ennerdale
