You have the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday. You are close to the town with a walk by the river to get there. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and is spotlessly clean and comfortable. We were greeted warmly with tea & coffee facilities and fresh cakes. Everyone on the farm was friendly and happy to chat about the cows and farm work. Being able to walk around the farm and visit the cows made for a great experience. Wonderful walks to see the amazing views. We really could not have wanted more from our break.

Take a tour of Weston's Cider, including tasting and a free sample to take home. We had a Chinese takeaway delivered from the Dragon House, Ross on Wye. The food was delicious and the delivery only £1.20. (Cash only) Parson's bakery offer delicious cakes and do great deals on light lunches. A few seats inside and out or take away to sit on a bench near the Market House. If you want a cinema trip, pop down to Cinderford to the Palace Cinema. Up to date films and cheaper than the big multiplex cinemas. A beautiful old building with lots of character.

We loved staying at Benhall Farm in the Garden Cottage. The cottage was comfortable, equipped, and our children loved playing outside (and we enjoyed alfresco dinners in the evening and bat spotting!). It was handy having Freeview TV channels for entertainment when needed. The complimentary cakes and biscuits on arrival along with milk and tea and coffee was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed exploring the farm and seeing the tractors and cows. The WiFi was a bit patchy at times but better once the plug was moved into the lounge. The toilet, as informed, was playing up a bit but still worked. Aside from the shower we weren't able to get.much hot water out of the bathroom or kitchen taps, but we coped. Thanks Carol for answering any questions we had and giving us recommendations. And thanks to the whole family for your friendliness and hospitality.

The Hope and Anchor pub - great beer garden on the river with ducks and swans to feed, canoes to hire and a close by park and playground. Child friendly! Mings Fish and Chips and New Golden Horse Chinese for takeaway. Thomas Land at Drayton Manor. Raglan Farm Park. Skenfrith Castle (historical ruins and a river to paddle in). Local pub The Bell Hotel and Restaurant. Lots more we didn't get a chance to do this time but look forward to on our next visit!

Wonderful place to stay and relax. The granary was comfortable but rather dark and old fashioned. There were also lots of cobwebs and spiders. But the farm and location made up for it. We had a lovely time. Thankyou.

Beautiful walks along the river. The forest of Dean is stunning. Lovely shops at Ledbury and Abergavenny.
