We have stayed at Glencoldon Cottage several times now, and it is a very special place for us, somewhere we relax, and feel restored by the beauty of nature, either in the garden or in the surrounding area. The cottage is perfect; with sustainability at its heart, it is a comfortable home from home, has everything that we need, and is always spotlessly clean. There are numerous walks from the door, along the Speyside Way to Aviemore and Nethy Bridge, or to Loch Garten, as well as through the woodland behind the cottage and alongside the river Spey. In addition, a regular bus service passes through the village, where there is also an exceedingly well-stocked shop, so once we have arrived we don’t need to use the car. For anyone wanting to go further afield, Glencoldon is ideally situated for exploring the Cairngorms or trips to the coast, and there are plenty of activities in the area to suit all ages and interests. We love it here and wouldn’t stay anywhere else for our Speyside holidays.

So pleased you enjoyed your most recent stay so much too. Thanks for all the detail for future guests on many of the things we love so much - the brilliant local shop, us sitting on the Speyside Way, the ability to do so much without needing to drive anywhere and, of course, our ongoing efforts to be the most eco-friendly! As we know you have been visiting the Cairngorms for so many years, feeling very honoured that you wouldn't now stay anywhere else!! Hope we'll see you back - all the very best meantime!

This is our third family stay and we have had a great time again, our children just love it so much up there. There's not much more I can say about the place that I haven't already, just have a look at all the amazing reviews that have been left from fellow guests.

Another wonderful stay at Glencoldon. We really love this place. A real haven of tranquility in its woodland setting with magnificent views at every turn. The house is spotlessly clean and a great deal of thought has gone into all of the eco amenities. Thank you, we look forward to a return visit.
