We were very happy with our stay in this suite. It was comfortable and warm - a cosy, but spacious room. The décor and furniture were tasteful and all the facilities were of the highest quality.

We weren’t sure if lack of dining room would be ok but the beautiful location and close proximity of several excellent cafes and breakfast venues dispelled any doubt. Our window gave us such a perfect view of the Cathedral. Parking right by the front door.

A most comfortable bed, good shower and a brilliant and quiet location. In the morning we walked through the cloister to the cathedral buttery for breakfast. Having known the house in the past, when it was the archdeacon’s house, it was a pleasure to revisit it.

It is a wonderful place. Its location is so perfect, right there under the Cathedral. The building itself is majestic in its height and ancientness. A thorough treat.
