Everything was immaculate. Stayed for a second time in three weeks. Can’t fault it.

Tips for other travellers

Central location with ample parking. Ideal base for exploring the area. Also easy by train as the station isn’t far away. We have stayed at Canon Lane twice in three weeks, and will book again if we’re in the area. Lemongrass great if you like Thai cuisine. Also great food at the theatre. We did pre theatre which was excellent food and great value.

Beautiful central city location and very quiet and peaceful. Stunning setting and the room is spacious and beautifully decorated- lovely bathroom too. Very comfortable. The house is a lovely period setting and we’d like to have more than one night next time to enjoy the lovely gardens. We will return. It would be perfect to have a cafe in the cathedral grounds for breakfast. We loved our stay there.

Easy to get out for breakfast in the city with several places to choose from. Some more expensive than others.
