Perfect location to access town while being in utterly tranquil surroundings. It was easy to make use of the lovely garden. In spite of trepidation, the keypad access was fine. Very thoughtful to have the facility of cool bag and cold blocks. Quiet classical music playing when we arrived was very peaceful! The light switch for main lights was a mystery and therefore not used..not v convenient and it was difficult to see the keypad outside after returning from the theatre at night A small ramekin or similar container for used tea-bags would help to stop drips on the carpet perhaps. We plan to stay again in this lovely spacious room if possible Very comfy beds and the fan was extremely welcome.

Tips for other travellers

Have phone/torch for light to see external keypad We bought fruit and yoghurt from M and S for breakfast (they have wooden cutlery on request) and then went straight to the garden to enjoy it. We stayed during the heat wave and the garden was wonderful. Coffee and pastries 5 mins away in the Cloisters cafe was very good
