Room 7 was great for our needs. V comfortable and close to centre of Chichester. Lovely view of Cathedral from small window. Great to be able to access gardens and cloisters so easily - just yards away. Good to have coffee facilities, etc and parking literally across the way. Cool pouch with ice block to keep milk cold was appreciated., Minor gripe was that lovely early morning spring sunshine flooded in from window, so darker blind would help. Definitely stay again if in Chichester. Thank you.

Tips for other travellers

Arriving by car - Satnav got v confused with local central area traffic restrictions. To access Canon Lane one needs to approach from the bottom end of South St (i.e. Ave de Chartres / Southgate end). Putting a location in the Satnav which is actually on South St but before Canon Lane (such as Pizza Express, of the Fat Fig) worked a treat. Canon Lane is then a sharp turn left off Sth Street just a bit further up (100m) from either of these restaurants. Parking was then straightforward.

We absolutely loved our stay at 4 Canon Lane. The location was perfect - peaceful and convenient, and the view from the room was the best we have ever had! What a privilege! We can't wait to return!

Lovely room overlooking the garden. Spotless, warm, great shower and bathroom, Great location. Next time I visit Chichester l will stay here if its available. 100% happy.
