A lovely building in the heart of the Cathedral close which has been carefully and thoughtfully renovated and spotlessly serviced by anonymous others. This was the only disconcerting part of an otherwise wonderful stay.

Tips for other travellers

An unusual - and thoughtful - provision is of small "cool bags" above the compact freezer in the hall which can be used during one's stay. This compensates for the lack of a refrigerator in the bedrooms. There are several tea- and coffee-shops on South Street. We chose The Fat Fig because it was open from 08:00 (09:00 on Sundays) and were rewarded for this choice by an excellent and imaginative breakfast, superb service and tranquillity.

Lovely accomodation in a super location. Directly overlooking the Cathedral on a quiet lane. Perfectly equipped, everything we needed. Easy access and safe parking. Had a wonderful 4 day stay. Thank you.
