Nearest pub (Kings Arms) is a steep walk down the valley and up the other side, about 20 minutes or more

Lovely to meet you. Thank you for your review. Yes, it is down and up to Hartland, and down and up on the way home! The way through the woods is very pretty, so worth the effort.

Excellent site, peace and quiet, plenty of space, two toilets and two showers, kitchen area and fridge. Walking distance to the coast path, Hartland, Hartland point and Abby

So pleased you enjoyed your stay. Hartland Quay is one of my favourite places. Rugged cliffs and beautiful sea views.

The site is in a glorious spot and we revelled in the peace and beauty also the dark skies and glorious stars! Although the facilities were billed as basic (2 separate toilets with sinks, 2 separate showers, washing up sink….there was also a fridge, microwave, hairdryer and kettle (most useful as we’d forgotten ours!) ….and lots of extras! Our host, couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful & welcoming! We are looking forward to our next stay!

The local area is beautiful but of particular mention is the stunning & dramatic Hartland Quay! We didn’t get to Hartland Abbey but heard that it’s gorgeous there…that’s for next visit!

A beautiful setting on a small farm in very rural north Devon. Shelly was very welcoming and helpful. Ideally situated for those enjoy a quiet break away from it all and for those who enjoy exploring and hiking.

The village of Hartland is about a 20-30 minute walk away through very pretty woodland, where there are pubs, small shops and a lovely cafe. Hartland Quay also has a hotel with lovely views, where meals and drinks are available. Nearby Hartland Abbey is also well worth a visit.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a positive review. The walks along the SW coastal path are spectacular. We pride in providing a quiet haven in this very busy world.
