Absolutely fantastic, Just got back from a 3 night stay with family and dog. Lovely quiet surroundings. Caroline and Nick are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. The perfect getaway for a relaxing break. Highly recommended, will definitely be back 👌

We’ve stayed at The Linhay before and once again had such a lovely experience. It’s a truly special place to spend time — peaceful, comfortable and beautifully looked after. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The owners’ warmth and generosity created a stay that meant far more than just time away; it gave us the chance to relax, recharge and make some really valued memories. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. We’re incredibly grateful and feel very lucky to have found somewhere so special.

The perfect hideaway spot! A sublime setting amongst the birdsong and trickling river was the perfect setting to recalibrate and relax. The Linhay is so comprehensively stocked, there was everything that we needed to cook, relax and entertain ourselves (the birdspotting book came in handy!!). And the welcome basket with goodies and freshly picked flowers was a really nice touch. So, so lovely. Thank you both!

Beautiful, peaceful & private location Lovely and helpful hosts Perfectly, tastefully and environmentally sensitively appointed with not too much or too little Great for dogs Didn’t go very far as no need to leave Have recommended to friends
