The Linhay @ Butterhills Escapes

We had an amazing time. It was fun to be cut off from the mainstream and a beautiful outlook with rain and shine. We were very cosy in the evenings with the wood-burner going and just the sound of birds and heavy rain at times. The Linhay had everything we needed on all counts and such a change from a usual cottage! Many thanks!

My wife and I had a few days at the Linhay The location is absolutely beautiful it’s the perfect place to relax and the outside space is amazing, We were met by the owner Caroline whom was extremely helpful and a genuine lovely person. On entering the Linhay a basket full of treats was waiting for us. Including home made scones and jam, which are fantastic If you want to escape the daily hustle and bustle of the world this is the place for you it is the cosiest getaway with great woods and a river outside your windows, Extremely dog friendly and our frenchy Nellie loved it too.. Thank you so much, We will definitely be returning.

We loved staying at The Linhay! Caroline and Nick were gracious, friendly hosts - the place is wonderful, and amenities were first class. We particularly enjoyed the evenings sitting outside the Linhay, enjoying the fire pit and barbecue as the sun came out. Very much recommended!

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay, such a wonderful location too. We didn’t want to leave!
