The Linhay @ Butterhills Escapes

Where do I start ? If you want to escape THIS is the place to go!. Who needs TV when you can watch the birds on the feeders- there are deer walking around near the accomodation. There is a beautiful relaxing woodland walk right outside your door AND the sound of the stream passing by just tops off what is pure relaxation!. Both Caroline and Nick are very friendly and explained everything in great detail. Everything you could need is just a 5 minute drive away yet when you walk along the track to the accomodation you could be the last people on earth. Beaches are within a short drive which was nice with SID our little staffy pup ( He even received a welcome gift of a chew which was a really lovely touch ) Accomodation was great. Overall an amazing escape from day to day life. Christian & Samantha ( Stroud )

This is our second visit to The Lihay and once again it did nt disappoint. From the welcome arrival to the departure everything was what we needed to get away from everything and relax and recharge

what can we say about this place, warm welcome, beautiful surroundings and The Linhay is in a league of its own. Our dogs loved it as did we, great base for visiting the coast or just stay in the beautiful location. don`t take our word for it, book a stay. you will be glad you did.

We had an amazing time. It was fun to be cut off from the mainstream and a beautiful outlook with rain and shine. We were very cosy in the evenings with the wood-burner going and just the sound of birds and heavy rain at times. The Linhay had everything we needed on all counts and such a change from a usual cottage! Many thanks!
