Everything was absolutely fine. I really liked the room and all facilities: a lovely house and staff. For me, the room temperature was a little too warm. I should have turned the radiator down earlier, which guests are obviously able to do. I'm sure everyone is different in this respect , so its not a criticism just an observation.

Friendly welcome. Lovely room, clean and comfortable. Only stayed one night but would highly recommend and definitely stay again when we visit Penrith again. Thank you

A lovely guesthouse in a pretty town. The welcome from the owners was very warm and made our stay even more pleasant. Comfortable beds and spotlessly clean rooms. Good location for walking to the many good restaurants in the town centre. We would definitely come back to stay when passing this way.

Tips for other travellers

Good parking on the road outside, but watch out for keen traffic wardens. The guest house has parking discs that you can borrow that effectively would give you free parking from 4pm until 10am the next day, as long as you go and change the time on the disc sometime in the evening.
