A lovely guesthouse in a pretty town. The welcome from the owners was very warm and made our stay even more pleasant. Comfortable beds and spotlessly clean rooms. Good location for walking to the many good restaurants in the town centre. We would definitely come back to stay when passing this way.

Tips for other travellers

Good parking on the road outside, but watch out for keen traffic wardens. The guest house has parking discs that you can borrow that effectively would give you free parking from 4pm until 10am the next day, as long as you go and change the time on the disc sometime in the evening.

Lovely welcome and very informative. Everything is just around the corner, very short walk to town. Beautiful B&B, and meticulously presented. Excellent breakfast, and one of the nicest cups of coffee I've ever drank. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Hi, Easy to find with plenty of parking - either on the street on the car park opposite. Booking in was easy with a warm welcome and the prior knowledge of breakfast menu. Room was a good size, very clean and cosy with a nice en-suite. Very quiet with great curtains for a peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast was fantastic - an amazing choice and very tasty. Thoroughly relaxing and superb value too. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you.

Fabulous and informative welcome from Ann. Beautiful accommodation with everything you need for a relaxing stay, with car parking near by and a few minutes walk into town. I would highly recommend staying at Glendale Guest House. Thank you, Ann and Paul.
