The Claremont is a beautiful property with original features. A warm and friendly welcome by Amy. Our room was clean, fresh and airy with a comfortable bed. Sensible mobile shelving unit for toiletries in the shower room, saved need to balance toiletries on the loo and sink. Option of small and standard cooked breakfast great idea and very nice it was too. Whilst we enjoy trying different holiday accommodation, this is one we intend to return to.

Tips for other travellers

Tiggi's Italian restaurant and The Ducks Nuts Tapas bar well worth a visit, both 10 minute walk away from the hotel.

Amazing guesthouse, always clean and presentable, helpful and hospitable hosts. Very close to the beach and not too far from shops and supermarket. Excellent value for money. Thank you Amy and partner for a lovely stay ☺️🙏

As before, very close to the beach and a super little beach cafe that serves very delicious ice-cream. Up the road from that is a really nice Toby Carvery with friendly staff
