For a Free day out visit an abandoned village called tyneham village its about 25 minute drive from the old mill b&b. all you pay is just £2 parking. It's amazing! Fun day out for the whole family.

Very comfortable room and plenty outdoor space to relax. Friendly hosts who aim to please with plenty variety for a hearty breakfast. They even obliged with veggie sausages. Parking was no problem either.

Ideal location for visiting Monkey World or the tank museum. Being a small village though there were limited choices for an evening meal unless you are willing to drive.

We loved the royal oak in the village itself and also the royal oak at milbourne st andrew. Visited swanage, west bay, weymouth and lulworth cove and recommend them all!

Very friendly, family-run, owner-on-premises B&B. Did a "Four in the bed" inspection as per the TV series, found nothing! Immaculate room. Owners even provide dressing gowns, not seen that in a B&B before. Hearty breakfast, cooked to order. Dog friendly, child friendly. Would happily stay here again.

Very friendly village with two pubs, the first offering bar meals, regular quizzes, live music and a great "the local" atmosphere the other more upmarket with full restaurant service and a big well-tended garden. Both pubs dog-friendly. Easy access (by car) to several castles, the coast, fossil hunting, boat trips, museums.
