The hosts were both lovely people and treated us like family. They went out of their way to make us an early breakfast when they heard we had to leave early to drive back to London to catch a flight. Couldn't ask for better hospitality, it was wonderful.

Tips for other travellers
Google maps can be deceiving about places to eat. While a pub might be open until 10pm, most places seem to close their kitchen earlier (around 7-8) and those hours are not usually listed.
The Drax Arms pub no longer serves food, so if the Royal Oak is closed, you'll need to head to another town to find a pub with food.
The Royal Oak has delicous food though and we highly recommend trying it out as it's walking distance from the Old Mill.
