An unbelievable location and aptly named as the Eyrie as you do have the most incredible elevated views of the landscape and isle of Rassay and the lighthouse of Rona and beyond to the Torridon Hills. The cottage is very luxurious with soft towels and very comfortable bed with lovely linen and soaps. We absolutely loved every second here thank you and I was very sad to leave. I watched the landscape for hours!

You do need to be organised with food and supplies from Portree as this is a remote cottage. There is a good community shop and cafe ( The hungry gull) in Staffin about 10 mins by car. Don’t expect restaurants or pubs unless you are prepared to travel some distance. If you want to stay somewhere extremely special for complete peace and tranquility then this is it. Climb a few mountains - the Old Man if Stor is worth the climb!
