⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly wonderful place on the Isle of Skye! We had an amazing stay at Skye Eyrie and would highly recommend it. The location is absolutely fantastic. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking views across the beautiful landscape and straight out towards the Atlantic Ocean. Waking up to this view or simply sitting there with a coffee and watching the changing light over the sea was unforgettable. The location is also perfect for exploring Skye, with many of the island’s highlights and well-known sights just a short drive away. At the same time, the cottage is wonderfully peaceful and feels like a real retreat after a day of exploring. Everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable and we immediately felt at home. Skye Eyrie was one of the highlights of our trip. We only wish we could have stayed longer and would return in a heartbeat. Absolutely recommended!

Tips for other travellers

It has rarely been such a pleasure to write a review – and rarely has it been so easy. Our expectations, which were already very high based on the description and photos, were more than exceeded. The location is simply fantastic: wonderfully secluded, with stunning views through the panoramic window across the meadows to the sea, the islands and the mainland. The cottage itself is superb – beautifully and thoughtfully furnished in a modern style and equipped with everything you could need, including laundry facilities. We also had very friendly and pleasant interactions with our attentive and welcoming hosts. The cottage is also an excellent base for day trips and outdoor activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this wonderful place.
