Gorgeous cottage, everything you could possibly need. Lisa was very helpful. Ideally situated to visit all the coastal areas. Only thing that would have improved our stay would have been hot water. The shower was always cold.

We did communicate regularly during your visit and this is the first we've heard that your water was cold - if we had known, we could have sorted for your stay!

We really enjoyed our 2 night mini break at Swallows Rest, Meadowbeck Cottages. It was so much better in reality than the pictures can show. The underfloor heating was a delight that my daughters really appreciated. The location was fabulous for Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby and Mallyan Spout Waterfall. Lisa and Graham provided all the essentials so you can literally just turn up and start your holiday - we have previously stayed in airbnb's with no toilet roll or soap! We would definitely consider staying again. Thank you for hosting us.

It was our 3rd time in the Shepherd Hut. Another fantastic stay. Great hosts. Hut has everything you need. Burner is a great feature. We love the peacefull surroundings. Fantastic location. Country and seaside. We highly recommend staying at the Meadowbeck cottages and huts.
