Our first visit to Meadowbeck & it won’t be our last. Fabulous few days at Swallows Nest. Perfect cottage with a superb view. Loved sitting on the patio watching all the animals. Lisa & Graham fantastic friendly hosts. Thank you.

Tips for other travellers

Drove to Whitby park & ride. It was so easy to get in & out of Whitby. Plenty to see there.

We have been going to Meadowbeck for the past 8 yrs. The accommodation is always clean and tidy and the location perfect for peace and quiet with all the wildlife and view of the sea. Lisa the owner cannot do enough for you to make our stay perfect.

Tips for other travellers

Plenty of walks Robin Hoods Bay, Scarborough, Whitby and Staithes within easy reach. Plenty of peace and quiet on site to sit outside and recharge

Tips for other travellers

Take the bus into Whitby - only £2 in each direction (X93 and X94). Bus stops right outside Meadowbeck. Great food and drink at reasonable prices at Fylingdales Inn. Falling Foss nearby, well worth a visit. Further north Staithes is worth going to - a smaller and less busy version of Robin Hood's Bay.
