Spotlessly clean, friendly host comfy and cosy cottages .Ideal location, we take our dogs they love it lots of lovely walks. This is our third visit and won’t be our last we just love it here.

Tips for other travellers

Horse and Hounds at Hawksy does lovely food always busy need to book. The Victoria Hotel at Robin hoods bay just had a refurb lovely views of the bay and delicious food. Sandsend The Fish cottage is nice too not just your normal fish and chips. The Black Horse inn Whitby very friendly staff and food.

Tips for other travellers

One day we walked to Robin hoods bay via the coast, (serious walkers only!). After a footwear change we had lunch at the Victoria hotel (sea view dinning) the food and atmosphere was exquisite, the service provided by competent staff. Then walked back! That night we slept well!

Swallows Rest at Meadowbeck is an adorable cottage. Cute, comfortable and cleverly appointed. We’ve been a few times now and will be back because the area is great for a weekend jaunt.

The Flask - local Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Hawsker are great restaurant venues and lovely places too bimble about.
