Great location for exploring. Suggest parting at Boggle Hole and walking down to the beach and along to Robin Hoods Bay(Cliff walk if tide is in). The bar/cafe at the YHA is lovely.

Friendly and attentive hosts, even brought up the Donkeys so we could see them. Lovely view including a view of the sea and Sheep in the fields. Lovely cottage and well equipped.

Close to Whitby & Robin Hoods bay Trenches and Bothams are well worth a visit in Whitby. Northallerton, Pickering and Thirsk are only a short drive.

We received a warm and friendly welcome from Lisa and Graham, who were helpful and hospitable throughout our stay. The facilities were exactly as we'd hoped - simple but cosy and in a peaceful, quiet location. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

Tips for other travellers
We were visiting the area without a car and the location is perfect for both a quiet, relaxing stay but with good bus connectivity towards both Whitby and Scarborough, with the stop very close by. There are good walking routes in the area, for example to Robin Hood's Bay.

This was a return visit for me and I enjoyed the comfortable cottage just as much as before. Breakfast in the sunshine, on the patio, with a sea view, watching the sheep, donkeys and goat is really pleasant. Perfect position for exploring the North Yorks Moors and the coastal path. Friendly, approachable hosts.
