A wonderful place to stay. Lisa and Graham are lovely, as are the dogs, goats, sheep and donkeys. A beautiful cottage with everything we needed and ideal for families. . Comfy beds, plenty of space and stunning view. We especially liked the use of the games room (take 50ps). Only a 15 minute drive into Whitby and lots of beautiful villages nearby.

Go exploring. Read the tide times if you plan to walk along the beach. Food is great at The Fylingdales Inn Fylingthorpe, The Victoria Robin Hoods Bay or Trenchers in Whitby. You have to go up the 199 steps (and start again if you don't count them properly!). Sandsend has one of the best beaches but go early so you can park. All in all, god's own country lives up to its name!

Lovely warm cottage. Beautiful views. Great location. It was immaculate. Owners very friendly and helpful. The tea biscuits were so nice I went and bought several more packets as gifts 😊

Walking along the sand to or from Robin Hood’s Bay when the tide is out was my favourite walk with my dog. If you time it right you can go very far. Pretty much everywhere I went on the coast was free parking Nov-April which was a bonus this time of year!

Thank you for your great feedback Emilia and we're so pleased that you and your dog had a confortable and cozy stay in Cowslip cottage. Good to hear that you liked the Bothams Tea Biscuits too! It is a good time to explore the coastline out of season and take advantage of the free parking areas.

Booked a last minute weekend break and so glad we did! On arrival Lisa was great, providing us with information on the cottage and local area. It was great to know there was someone around if we needed anything or had any questions. The cottage itself was just lovely. Very warm and comfortable with everything we needed for a short stay. Decorated tastefully with stunning views and even some goats right outside! Location wise it really hit the mark. Only 15 mins drive from Whitby and other landmarks it was just the right distance away for what we wanted. Overall a truely wonderful stay and really looking forward to booking some more time next year x

We had dinner at a local pub called the falcon inn which was lovely, great value, lots of choice and friendly staff! The Magpie cafe in Whitby is also really fantastic. Would recommend the fish pie!
