An excellent facility for a short break in North Norfolk. Very welcoming hosts and although an apartment type layout, on one level, rather than a cottage, it was great not having to manage what we understand are sometimes called "Norfolk Stairs", (i.e. very steep and narrow), that we have experienced in a few older cottages in the area.

The Jolly Sailors pub, with its' Rum Bar, is a very short walk from the property and does good pub food, whilst the White Horse, about 10 minutes walk, also does some excellent sea food dishes. Watch for their special events, but get there early...they get very busy and booking is highly recommended.

We are very definitely an apartment rather than cottage.Trying to offer something slightly different to the other choices of bed and breakfast facilities or renting a cottage. Thank you for coming to stay. We must put a sign up on the shed doors - thank you for that, so helpful and much appreciated.

Loved the set-up, outdoor bench, only 1 other rental made it fantastically quiet in large grounds with parking next to apartment. Beautiful interior, modern, bright & tasteful. Make your own breakfast items all supplied. The owners a delight & very helpful. Their comprehensive website/app is the best/most professional we have seen from any accommodation. Very highly recommend and will return.

All on the doorstep: The Jolly Sailors pub (food & beer garden - basic, bustling & nice) is a 2 min. walk. The harbour with brilliant crab shack & bus stop (Coastliner No. 36 serving all villages/towns there are, and there are many interesting places) also just around the corner. The marshes walking paths next to it, so all very convenient & interesting/peaceful indeed. The excellent White Horse Hotel, Resto/bar & great marshland beer garden just 10 min. away on foot with lovely views, and same walking distance to garage & fantastic choice supermarket/Cafe/shops.

It was a delight to have you to stay, and would love to see you both again. I hope you continued to have great weather on the rest of your travels.

My friend and I had a two night stay and we couldn't fault our accommodation at all. We were grateful we were able to get into our apartment before 3pm and parking was great. The place was spotless and we appreciated the breakfast options and it was very kind that some profiteroles were left for us. The online guide was really informative, we are not from the area and the guide helped us plan our beach day and made us aware of the local music festival happening. We look forward to visiting again.

No. 29 restaurant in Burnham market served an incredible roast dinner! Holkham beach was really pretty and we had a great day out there

Hi Rebecca - I'm sorry I never saw you during your visit. Delighted you had a great time at the Jollies music festival. They have a lot of music events over the summer. Thank you for all your helpful advise on where to go. You were lucky with the profiteroles - I had made way too many for our grandsons' christening!!!

This was our third time staying and it was as perfect as ever. Wonderful hosts, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and now feels like a home away from home, we love it!
