It was the perfect anniversary getaway spot for my wife and me. Every morning was a wonderful relaxing start to the day with delicious breakfast and great conversations. We were close to everything in Kerrytown and Kathleen had many great recommendations for food and fun activities. All in all we look forward to future stays anytime we plan to visit Ann Arbor.

Don't forget to slow down and spend time in the communal areas. It's a great space to drink some tea or coffee, have good conversations, and read a book.

Kathleen is a wonderful inn keeper! You can feel the warmth of her personality when you enter the Baxter House. Her husband, Matthew is fun to talk to during breakfast as well. Did I mention breakfast? Kathleen makes delicious breakfast for her guests. I'm still thinking about the apricot cakes, the homemade granola, and the eggs benedict. I stayed in the sunrise room which felt cozy and comfortable.

Before arriving make sure you let Kathleen know of dietary restrictions. She will be more than accommodating. Keep your key with you so you don't get locked out of the house. Let Kathleen know what time you can do breakfast.
