Such a stunning location and our return trip after 10 years so lovely to see Greta again. We made the most of the lake access with Kayaks and paddle-boards

Tips for other travellers

Easy access to fells around Ullswater - Helvellyn and it's lovely scrabbling edges a clear highlight. Great to have lake access from the property, but also easy access to Penrith and Keswick.

A truly fabulous location - we really enjoyed our stay - simple accommodation as we wanted and expected. As others have commented - the wifi is really patchy and not really useable if that is important to you.

Wonderful location and everything we needed. Lake access fantastic. Greta absolutely lovely and very helpful with any questions. Thank you for such a lovely stay. We really enjoyed it.
