We really enjoyed our stay and were particularly pleased with how close we were to the beach. The hostel was really nice and quiet, which was perfect for what we were looking for. The animals in the hostel were all really lovely, although we were wary of the dogs potentially having fleas, because they were itching all the time. ALL the food we had at the hostel was absolutely delicious, although it could have been a bit more transparent about what we were going to be charged for (tea, ice cream, etc.) The private room was really spacious, the wall fans were great, and the bathroom was a really good size with a really nice shower

Tips for other travellers

We spent most of our time relaxing on the beach, which is right in front of the hostel. We tried to eat at Restaurant El Buda for lunch, but it was closed, although we had a really good meal at Playas Trinity instead. It will cost 150L to get a taxi to Tela and we did a Punto Sal Tour which was quite good. We went with Tela Tours, but some of the other companies were there for longer and seemed like they were better organised, so we would suggest a different company for this

Spray for insects ,use flea collars on Dogs. Got some nasty bites there.
