We had a lovely week at Goody Bridge Farm. The accommodation was traditional and wonderfully quirky as well as being cosy and warm with all modern conveniences. The views were gorgeous with many good walks from the door and the village just a short stroll away. We had various friends and family staying with us over the week and no one could fault it. Already thinking about our next visit!

I am sure anyone coming to stay in Grasmere will already know about the great walks and the gingerbread! We had a very good meal out at Lewis's Bistro and a couple of delicious pints at The Inn.

A very special place, retaining much character and ambience, and in a beautiful spot. Equipped with everything one might need, and very comfortable.

Though a bit of a walk out of Grasmere, the Travellers Rest is particularly worth seeking out for good food and lovely ambience too. The Jumble Room is quirky, welcoming, and with a great menu and delicious food.

We had the best week at Goody Bridge Farm. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. The additional lounge area offered flexibility for guests. The farm was cozy and warm despite the freezing temperatures. The complimentary ginger bread was very much appreciated.

The Inn at Grasmere and Baldry’s Tearoom are a must. Walks we would recommend are Easdale tarn and the circular route from Grasmere to Ambleside taking in Rydal cave and the coffin trail. The local bus service is excellent and reasonable too.
