Just outside the centre but not a bad location. Parking available. Quality of food excellent. Very nice people who run it, so clean and comfy room overlooking the sea. Book it

This was our second stay at Lucerne which has limited parking on site. Elevated location gave excellent views over the town and coastline as far as Portland Bill. Accommodation spotless and in excellent condition. Breakfast excellent too. Daniel looked after us very well and was ever friendly and helpful at all times.

Located just above the top of the High Street it is about 10 minutes walk to the lovely beach and a little further to The Cobb (Harbour sea wall) There are many eateries but our favourite was The Harbour View. Lots of nearby interesting places to visit including Sidmouth, Seaton and Beer to the west and Bridport, West Bay and Burton Bradstock to the east, as well as many coastal walks and fossil hunting.

Thank you for an excellent stay! Our room had a wonderful panoramic view of Lyme Bay and round to Portland Bill, and similarly the breakfast room. The downside of this is that there is a very steep hill to climb from the town centre, which might be a challenge for the less mobile. Having said that, it is simply a fact that Lyme Regis is situated on very steep hillsides, so this applies to much of the town!

We would recommend The Pilot Boat for lunch or dinner. There is an interesting menu, and the food was very good. It's also much more spacious inside than appears from the outside.
