The Heron’s Rest Townhouse Bed and Breakfast

The Heron's Nest 16A was perfect in every way. With three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom or shower room, this house offers amazing accommodation for a family with diverse needs and a preference for their own spaces. The views from each bedroom are stunning, especially for birdwatching enthusiasts like us. A special highlight is the third floor, where you can convert the window into a small balcony, offering an ideal vantage point to observe the sealife, boats, people, seagulls, herons, and the tides changing the sea levels. It’s such a peaceful, mindful place. The house is well-heated throughout and furnished with everything you need for a practical and comfortable stay: dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, coffee machine, electric juicer, and more. We had planned to dine out every night but found the house so welcoming that we ended up enjoying cooked breakfasts and dinners there. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtful selection of provisions in the kitchen—eggs, salmon, bread, butter, jam, yogurt, ham, milk, and cereals. There’s a strong emphasis on organic and eco-friendly products, with most food being organic and cleaning supplies environmentally friendly.

An ideal resting location. Elegant simplicity with a variety of rooms and views to relax in. Situated right on the water leading to the bay you can view seaside activity of boaters and seabirds. A truly fun place to rest in!

Excellent communication, brilliant location, lovely apartment. Please oil bedroom door, very squeaky. Only downside is the bathroom, not to the same standard as rest of apartment, eg nowhere to put towels or soapbag.
