This amazing cottage is in a lovely location. It is the quietest, most peaceful place we have ever stayed in. It’s ideally located for travelling in all directions on the island & two lochs are only 5 mins in the car and within walking distance. The cottage is very homely with great attention to detail - everything has been carefully thought out. Sharon & Stuart are close by if needed but apart from a warm welcome we didn’t see them. I would recommend this lovely cottage to anyone.

Tips for other travellers

If you walk out of the cottage and go past the mausoleum the track takes you to the edge of Loch Ba with stunning views. Calgary beach is worth the drive. Tobomory has some nice restaurants and bars if you don’t mind the drive. Everything about Mull we thought was lovely

Easy stroll to Mausoleum from cottage. Must visit Isle of Iona (Iona Abbey, Nunnery gardens etc) - Martyrs Bay cafe & gift shop, white sands & walks Tobermory -- ("Ballamory" - children's BBC programme filmed here), several cafes & gift shops.
