Everything very clean.Bedroom and bathroom decorated to a high standard. Comfy bed. Although on a road, it was very quiet and we both slept well, even with the window open. Great to smell the cool air from the moors. Great choice of breakfasts. Husband had a tasty veggie cooked breakfast, and I had a large bowl of delicious porridge with cinnamon,brown sugar and honey. Owner Caroline friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Tips for other travellers

A short 10minute drive away we had evening meal at The Two Bridges hotel on Dartmoor - a lovely experience. Super walk to Fogin Tor interesting history. Dartmoor prison 5 mins walk. Didn't go in, but museum was open to look round. Large public car park nearby - handy for doing some lovely walks in the area.

Tips for other travellers

Dartmoor inn very good meal not the cheapest but good food isn't. Both Indian restaurants in Tavistock are worth a look.
