Duchy House Bed and Breakfast

We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely house in a great location - great base for hiking. Really warm welcome from our hosts and the breakfast was excellent - just what we needed before a day on the moor. We are already planning our next visit.

We stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The breakfast was delicious and Richard and Caroline are very friendly, helpful and thoughtful hosts. Our room was very clean and the bed really comfortable. Being able to park our car behind the house was great, too. We were within walking distance of two pubs, a village shop with a post office and The Old Police Station Cafe. So, perfectly situated. I’m sure we will stay there again. Dartmoor has so much to offer.

Large clean room, clean and modern bathroom, lovely hot shower. Friendly, helpful hosts. light, warm and airy breakfast room. superb breakfast. Private secure parking spaces were a bonus.
