Extremely friendly and accomodating as always. The house has absolutely everything we needed for our stay and felt like a proper home from home. 👌

Harris Hotel for food and also the brewery restaurant at Leverburgh. Granny Annie's at Rodel is worth a visit for a giggle at the naughty corner

This was our 3rd visit to Rosamol and it didn’t disappoint. The house has everything you could think of and more! It is very clean and warm. Rachel was always at the end of the phone/email.

This is our 4th trip to Rosamol and we all love staying in the house, it’s so cosy and has everything you need. The views are spectacular in any weather and the location is perfect. This time we had the best weather yet, cold and sunny with not a drop of rain all week in February!

Tips for other travellers

We took a walk to the Eagle Observatory and visited the new brewery in Leverburgh. We had a fab takeaway of scampi monkfish on the Saturday night from Lorna’s Larder and cupcakes and bakes from Luskentyre Cake Shed which is just over the road from the house. We visited all the beaches and had a couple of ice cold dips in the sea at Luskentyre. We drove along the Golden Road and saw seals. We went up to Lews Castle and Museum to see the Lewis Chessmen before getting the ferry home. A wonderful week!

Harris Tap Room is excellent, Scarista House Hotel, Northton Cafe. Rodel church, Rodel Harbour, Northton Chaoel, Skarista beach, Golden Road, The Mission Gallery, Hushinish, Eagle Hide, McCleod stone. West side of Lewis, Uig Sands, Reef beach, Carolway, Calkanish (closed just n0ow). Just wander about the beach near the house is unbeatable!
