One suggestions - have you considered fitting key safe's to each apartment? You could then just give the code to the key safe on check in instead of the key, and it would enable guests to securely leave the key in the key safe instead of taking it out with them and risk losing it.

Thank you so much for your lovely review we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and would recommend to others. We have thought about key boxes, however this system would not work in our complex. As our family home and business we like to know who is on site, which is what makes Moorhead the safe place it is for all our guests.

Really incredible experience! All staff were very friendly and welcoming making it feel like home away from home. Family friendly, were accommodating towards our baby providing extras like cot and highchair. The facilities are perfect and varied with plenty to choose from. They aren’t always busy either so you get to do everything and we loved always being able to use the pool and hot tub. Little extras like the DVD, games and toy borrowing are a nice touch. Fishing lake is very serene even if you just go for a walk around it. Bar and restaurant are great atmosphere and the takeaway menu is a must have. Room was lovely, well prepared, tidy and clean with everything you need. It’s situated in a beautiful nook of Devon and you don’t have to travel far for tourist activities. It has idyllic views and overall the place is very well done with a lot of thought and heart put into it.

Really great location with easy access to beautiful places like Clovelly, Hartland Quay, Bideford and Westward Ho!. Plenty of smaller beaches and cliff walks around. There’s the option to explore further north or south without it feeling too out of reach. Village shop is only 5 min drive away and has a bit of everything. Local pub is niche and on the pricier side but was an experience we’d never had which made it worth it but it may not be for everyone. All of the site seeing places within 20-30 mins have nice options of pubs or places to eat/drink whilst out. You don’t have to struggle to find anything whilst staying here which makes for a very relaxing holiday!

We loved our stay. It was such a good system signing up for the pool and gym and being able to have it either to yourselves or with a few people. Made it feel like a real treat. The food was excellent and the takeaway service very efficient. Nothing bad to say - we loved our stay and look forward to coming back!

We used Moorhead as a base for cycling the Tarka trail. We parked in Bideford at the halfway point - Clarence Wharf car park. After 30 miles of travelling each day- going in the pool and jacuzzi was lovely! Recommend the County cottage bakery in Bideford (just the other side of the bridge) for lovely sandwiches and salads to fuel your cycling!

Our second stay at Moorhead. Great little complex with great family facilities. The family are super helpful and friendly. Loved the games room and swimming facilities. Really like how you can book a slot to suit. A great stay. Thank you.

We booked a shopping slot to deliver our weeks shop which was a life saver. We Westward Ho which is a large , family friendly beach. Has all you need. Shops, food, toilets , coffee etc. Appledore was a quaint little English seaside port to spend a few hours. Barnstaple for shops - high street. We want to the ‘Bell Inn’ pub. Lovey old typically English pub. Beautiful food and generous portions. Friendly staff and lovely setting.
