I recently had the pleasure of staying at Moor Head, ( 1 adult and two children 14.11) and I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the facilities offered. From the moment we arrived, everything was set up for comfort and relaxation. One of the standout features for me was the hot tub – clean, well-maintained, and perfectly positioned to enjoy the surrounding views. The swimming pool was equally enjoyable and you could book slots which meant we had to ourselves We stayed in a room that was thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need – a very comfortable bed, The décor was tasteful and welcoming. The kitchen was small however are able to make most meals. We attended the restaurant which served home cooked meals and reasonable price and was delicious. We didn't try the takeaway menu but it looked good. The kids enjoyed the game room and liked the fact you good borrow games and DVDS. Overall, Moor Head exceeded my expectations. The combination of peaceful surroundings and excellent facilities made it a perfect getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

We went to the Milky Way adventure park which is suitable for all weather and was good for the price. Clovelly is short drive away and was stunning helped by the nice we were having. The walk to the waterfall over pebbled beach was worth it. Westward Ho! is near by which had amusements , go karts and crazy golf. The beach looked good for surfing there were a few people out over Easter. We ate at flame + dough in Westward ho the pizza were delicious. Bideford has an outlet village , which handy if rainy day also has indoor play area and animal meet and greet place too( we didn't do ) Bude is 11 miles away but is lovley beach with sea pools.

Wonderful base to explore North Devon. The apartment was spacious and spotless. I am very particular about floors as I have a crawling baby but it was extremely clean. The furnishings were lovely, very modern and the bed was great. The apartments are well equipped with everything you need. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and it was a fantastic idea to book your own slots so you get private time in the pool. Even though the evening slots were technically meant to be shared we found everyone was very considerate and had their own slot rather than sharing someone else’s so we had two solo sessions a day which was wonderful! Pool was again exceptionally clean - we did lots of swimming to the bottom of the pool to collect sinkers and it was immaculate, no debris or anything like that. Hot tub was fantastic, I didn’t want to get out! Staff were incredibly helpful - when I couldn’t work the tumble dryer, I sent an email (on Easter Sunday!) and within minutes someone was there and had got it to work. Games room is well equipped with so many toys, board games and dvds as well as pool and table tennis for the older ones. A fabulous stay and we hope to return!

- there’s a great shop in Woolsery only a few minutes drive. It is very well stocked with pretty much everything you might need. Staff are very friendly and offered to help carry goods out to our car! - take change with you. You can use the washing machine and tumble dryer. A wash is £3 (need pound coins) and tumble dryer is £2 for a light/medium load (need fifty pence). The pool table takes £1 coins. Reception will change money for you if needs be. - if you are travelling north to go home there’s a lovely honey farm on the way out with a great play area for kids. Great to tire them out before the rest of the journey home!

As a travelling salesman, the wifi was not the best, but apart from that you cannot fault Moorhead. I know it was off season but I was made to feel very welcome and ate in the bar both nights. The premises was perfectly clean etc.
