Kootney Resorts

Nice cool calm place peaceful off the beaten track but close enough to amenities for all general needs ie bank groceries restaurants car hire etc etc

If I could give Kootney Resorts more than five stars, I absolutely would. From the moment I secured our reservation, the communication and hospitality were exceptional. Trish offered to coordinate our airport pickup, and when our stay needed to be extended, she made everything incredibly easy. That level of care continued throughout our stay. For ACSOM students and families, Kootney is an absolute gem. Just a 15-minute walk to the school, the bungalows truly feel like a home away from home, clean, bright, airy and well stocked. The beds and showers are huge, there’s plenty of storage, and the entire property is peaceful, comfortable and incredibly safe. Morning coffee on the front porch became a favorite, especially when Pino, the resort pup, stopped by for belly rubs! What truly makes Kootney special is Trish and Kyle. They genuinely care about their guests. As a mom bringing her child to Dominica to begin medical school, that meant more than I can put into words. They are an incredible resource for navigating the island and made us feel welcomed and cared for from the very beginning. We arrived as guests and left feeling like we had family we know and trust. For this mom, that may be the highest compliment I can give.

I met Kyle and he was very kind and friendly.

The hosts Trish & Kyle were friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay. The cottage was clean and ready to go with the the items we requested. We'll definitely be staying again.
