We thought the location was excellent. Directions to the farm excellent.syaff very friendly even through we only met George. Will definitely be back.

Lots of places to visit but to many to mention. Look at info pack in van. Lovely restaurant around the area.

We really enjoyed our short break with you and our little grandson was in his element searching for the gnomes and feeding the chickens

Tips for other travellers

A little bit of a walk to the pubs/town but for about 7 quid you can easily get a taxi back. Little mill in Rowarth is good for kids and adults for a meal and a drink, but is a bit of a drive (about 10 minutes ) but worth it.

Reasonable light meals at golf club friendly staff Excellent meals at The Pack Horse Inn Mellow Road

very friendly staff, enjoyed seeing the chickens around the site in the day and a stunning view with the cows out of the main window. caravan was fully equipped with everything we needed while there, perfect place to stay if looking for a site in the peak district (:

beautiful footpaths around the farm, perfect location for walks around new mills or even for scenic drives to other towns. plenty of country parks with free access, kids thoroughly enjoyed swimming at hyde leisure pool.
