A lovely place to stay, it felt remote while at the same time being close enough to numerous attractions that there is always something to see and do. A very friendly welcome, it was like staying with old friends. We especially enjoyed the visits from the sheep and hens who were very entertaining. The facilities are first class and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Lisa.

As we only had a two day break we didn't venture far. I love Skipton and we had a day out there. There is a street market on four days. Boundary Mill, or Boundary Outlet as it is now known isn't far and, as it was raining we went over and did some indoor shopping. For the more energetic it is lovely walking and cycling country. There is something for everyone.

Staying at Pickersgill Manor Farm was an incredible experience during lambing time. From the first contact to the last good bye Lisa and her family were a true blessing to myself and my son. The farm atmosphere was a real joy for a former farm girl.. The beautiful countryside is beyond description. Inside the manor Lisa provided the most interesting, delicious, and plentiful breakfast selections and fruit to take for the day. The bed was more comfortable than mine at home. Everything was bright and beautiful and well kept - every day. Thank you very much to Lisa and family. If I have another opportunity to visit my son in Silsden I will definitely call for arrangements at Pickersgill.I strongly recommend Pickersgill to anyone visiting in the area. Thank you, Lisa!

Any Catholic visiting the area should definitely attend Mass at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church in Silsden. My family had a wonderful experience tree climbing at Craven. Fish and chips and MUSHY PEAS at The Trawlerman - huge delicious serving of haddock. I thoroughly enjoyed driving in the narrow roads observing the lush green fields filled with new baby lambs and stone fences. For dinner - Toby Carvery for sure.
