Just got back from an amazing 4 days here. Check in was easy, Martin, the owner was very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Room was quirky, in a good way,large, clean and had everything you could need. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean, with a large bath with shower. Always plenty of hot water. On the ground floor they have a Thai restaurant (Thai by Ja) serving the most delicious food. Lovely friendly restaurant with a good atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Tips for other travellers

Guest house is a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants, pubs and the bus station. Buses were brilliant, our car stayed in the guest car park for the 4 days we were there. Just be aware are stairs up to the rooms and no lift. (We are in our 70s) We were offered help with our bags, but managed fine. Breakfast is in the Wheatsheaf pub a very short strole across the square.

A very enjoyable stay. The accommodation was very clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meal at the on site restaurant was delicious, a great menu to choose from.

Hotel was clean, Thai restaurant was lovely, they offer 15% off for hotel guests and also a lovely breakfast in the morning across the street in a neighbouring pub. Really clean and well managed
