We stayed in the double room for four nights. The room was excellent, as described and the property located in a quiet part of the village but within easy walking distance of the two pubs, post office/café and tearooms. Milly was the perfect host, ensuring we had sufficient tea/coffee/milk in our room and preparing fantastic breakfasts. The view over the garden and stream towards the village centre was lovely.

Tips for other travellers

The magnificent church on the green is home to two ancient “fire” trucks and the village has a first-class heritage centre. Aldbourne is an ideal location for visiting the area and The Paddocks the best place to stay!

Excellent bed & breakfast accommodation. Room and ensuite were spacious and immaculately clean with view over the lovely garden. Breakfasts were delicious. The owner, Millie, was a wonderful host.

Our host was superb - providing a professional but personal service in their immaculate home. Beds are comfortable, rooms are en suite, and cooked breakfast is delicious. Highly recommend.

Tips for other travellers

Set in a pretty village (with shop, pub and tea room), we enjoyed Fancy B Turkish restaurant in the next village. Beautiful towns to visit include Marlborough and Cirencester.
