Dear friends, We had a wonderful time at Mango Lodge and I wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious and, most important everybody at the lodge was extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you very much for helping us to enjoy Gambia for the very first moment. We will definitely recommend Mango Lodge to our friends (and Gambia in general). All the best, Mihaela

Tips for other travellers

We had a great time at the bar on the beach (One love). Great horse riding organised by Mango Lodge, friendly people, great music and delicious food - especially the butterfish, yummy! The bar and the beach are not far to walk to but we found it easier to be driven there, also organized by Sarje. Also the transfer from the airport to the hotel went smoothly...

All was great. Here, we especially want to thank the manager and Adam.They do really good job !!! Only 2 things to complain: - noise from the street - the neighbour burning plastic on his possession. Terrible.

Tips for other travellers

Perfect location if you want to be in a not-so-touristic place. The town lives its life, it is safe, people are friendly. You must see the boats in the port! At the inverted wreck you will meet Jud, who will offer you something tasty and talk about any topic. Try also sandwiches sold on the street (at the police station). Tired of the day in the sun, you can relax at Mango Lodge with a tasty dinner and a bottle of good African wine. The pool is great.
