Easy to find, amazing setting nestled away in the valley, clean, tidy, rooms, kitchen area and facilities all perfect. Kath very helpful throughout our stay. Very close to bike park wales. Will definitely be staying again and recommending to anyone who asks for accommodation in wales. 😁

Excellent facility for camper stay. Private use of a proper bathroom is great, and really pleasant site.

If you've got your bikes, then use the Taff Trail to get to a restaurant or two- dead easy.

We really enjoyed our time at The Roost. What stood out the most was how exceptionally clean all the facilities were. It’s obviously well taken care off. Views of the hills all around while we sat and ate dinner in the evening. Kitchen had everything you needed including some oil and salt and pepper kindly provided. The location was excellent, we didn’t have a car and got the train. 7 min walk from the train station. Then had no trouble getting buses around the area.

Would recommend a trip up to a the Pontsticill Reservoir. We caught the bus very easily. From the drop off point it was 1hour 30mins to The Old Barn Tea Room on the opposite side of the reservoir. Lovely sandwiches and cream scones. Then we continued our walk in the circle following the old steam train track back to the bus stop. Great day out !
