Perfect location for forest trails, don’t need to leave the place really as all is there for your stay but needs be Peebles is 5 minutes down the road

Brilliant staff. Always helpful and as bike riders themselves, they're good for any bike related advice and local trail stuff. Casual and friendly atmosphere. I'll definitely be staying here again (I have stayed here twice previously). Breakfast menu is really good and sets you up great for a day on the trails or surrounding fells.

Not too far from the town of Peebles which has plenty of eating places and a few good pubs - The Riders Retreat also has great quality food throughout the day and evening.
