Great location, excellent food and really friendly staff.

Located right at the bottom of the trails with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Facilities to clean and safely store your bike are really appreciated. The staff were really helpful and the food tasted great.

Excellent friendly service by all the staff. Location is excellent for access to Glentress mountain bike trails. Bike lock up was very useful. Hotel food was really good and local brewery drinks are on offer which were great quality. The Hotel would benefit from having a drying room facility for wet gear after a wet Scottish days riding. Will definitely be back to stay here and would recommend to others.

On arrival we received a genuinely warm welcome from Holly who showed us to our room and explained everything clearly. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. There is always someone available in the bar and restaurant area so we settled in with a beer after our long journey and booked our evening meal. Food on offer is better than average pub fare, is prepared with care and suited us perfectly. Change of staff on the second night with young Rose (not Rosie) looking after us and making us feel welcome. All the staff we met appeared to be interested and happy to be there, which is a rare thing these days.The free secure bike storage is properly secure so no concerns about that.
