Arrived after a days MtB in glentress and were welcomed in. Checked in and had a couple of beers before deciding to get changed. Everyone was very welcoming, chatty and knowledgable about the area. Booked evening meal at the same time. Rooms were nice & clean. We ordered the Farmhouse stack (massive & tasty!) Breakfast the next day - full Scottish. Very filling & tasty. Chatted to the owner for a while, again, easy to talk to and very helpful!

Work for a bicycle manufacture and we used the Riders Retreat as a host location for some product testing. Accommodation, food, location, hosts all 5*. Highly recommend and we'll be back.
