Riders Retreat Tweed Valley

Really friendly staff and excellent position for those wanting to mountainbike in Glentress. I was up for the Tour O The Borders and was excellent for that - even provided a packed breakfast for that early start. Food was good and the IPA beer on draught was excellent. I will use again. Also secure bike shed available.

Bearing in mind this is a riders base and not a 5* hotel our stay was fantastic. Staff and owner could not do enough to help us and the breakfast was fantastic. Couple of miles to town with great curry house and a number of pubs. Got taxi one night and walked on other occasion. Food in riders retreat was verry good and reasonable in cost. Would definitely stay again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything you need for a bikeing holiday.

Micheal was a great host, he and the team really made my son and I welcome and we really enjoyed our stay
