Beautiful location, well-appointed and comfortable bothy. The Welcome food items were delicious - especially the scallops. Dave and Julie are very friendly and welcoming hosts.

Tips for other travellers

Uig Sands Restaurant served us very good food in a welcoming environment with stunning views. The Museum at Lews Castle in Stornaway is very interesting. We had a good lunch at no. 9 in Stornaway.

Fantastic location, accommodation and facilities. Just sit and enjoy the views and local wildlife - oystercatchers, terns, ringed plovers and two families of eiders. The "bothie" is wonderful and Dave and Julie couldnt be more friendly and helpful.

Another wonderful stay at the Beach Bothies! This really is a special location, the view is incredible. The bothies have everything you need for great stay and Julie and Dave are the most wonderful hosts.

Tips for other travellers

Live small, walk from the bothie around the coast to Cliff beach. Swim in the sea. Watch the weather. Just breathe.

Perfect stay. Great attention to detail. Very clean. Great location overlooking the beach. Delicious scallops and black pudding supplied. We hung out in the bothie as the weather was quite bad which was no hardship!

Tips for other travellers

Ate at Uig sands restaurant which was excellent, although quite expensive. Ate more of Dave’s hand dived scallops at the restaurant. Delicious.
