First class. Fantastic location, everything that could be provided in the Bothy to make the stay confortable and enjoyable had been thought of and delivered, and more! The specific setting of the Bothies is special, as is the wider setting of the Uig peninsula. A place that, as soon as you leave, you want to return to.

Tips for other travellers

The information provided by Dave and Julie in the guide at the Bothy covered everything. One particular favourite visit was, as we left, a trip to Bosta beach and the island of Bernera. Can’t comment on restaurants, museums, etc, as we went out of season. Also a shout for a lovely ceramic studio/shop in Aird, Stack and Tumble - give Erin a visit and get some beautiful locally-made pottery.

Our 6th holiday at the Beach Bothies. It never fails to deliver an amazing location, great swimming, walks and wildlife. Julie and Dave are wonderful hosts who we now consider friends. THANK YOU.

Julie and Dave The perfect hosts, there for you if required. Offers of coffee in their home,to chat, nothing a problem, we called a few times with questions about places to see and restaurants to visit, nothing was a problem for them . The welcome pack of home baked bread, black pudding, and Dave’s hand dived scallops was the icing on the cake. Memories that I will treasure for a lifetime. Until we return.

SEAcroft a must restaurant to try. There are so many places to visit steeped in history, beaches, crofts, standing stones, you need to experience for yourself. I will certainly return.
