Tips for other travellers

We accidentally drove up the horrible road t o Booze as we misinterpreted the 15 m in the directions as 15 minutes when in fact the m stands for metres so don't make the same mistake as us. I was so relieved to find that we weren't staying up at Booze!! Also we locked ourselves out 5 minutes after arriving as the sneck is tricky so don't leave the house without the key. Luckily a very nice neighbour showed us where there was a spare. Phew.

We came to Arklehurst many years ago a number of times. We have re-visited it again. Yhe new Kitchen is lovely and the Bathroom. The whole house is lovely! The weather was mild for the time of year. The house was spotlessly clean - it sparkled! It was also lovely and WARM and thank you for the coal The settee's were comfy. A HUGE THANK YOU The Bailey's.

Dear Judith, we had a lovely week in the Dales and liked the cottage and its location very much - glad actually, that we didn't get Joe House and had to reconsider. There were, however, a couple of things that marred the enjoyment: the powershower failed to provide reliable service at times, we decided it probably was when the water pressure went down due to water being drawn elsewhere - kitchen, sink, toilet the neighbours' not only were quite audible, but also their kitchen smells were rather invasive Probably until next spring Regards Sabine
